There are few families in the game of golf who have had the impact the Harmons have had. Four sons - Butch, Dick, Craig and Bill - grew up under the watchful eye of their father, Claude, who was considered golf's most legendary teaching professional. As adults, each son went on to earn his own personal acclaim as nationally recognized golf instructors.Family patriarch, Claude Harmon, is often remembered for his victory in the 1948 Masters, which he entered, not as a PGA TOUR pro, but as a working golf club professional. But to know Claude Harmon the teacher was to best understand his contributions to the game.Today the Harmon legacy continues. Thanks to a joint venture put together by three of the brothers, Harmon Golf was opened as the Northeast's leading private golf club and teaching campus offering best-in-class learning, practice and play facilities. Each of the three Harmon brothers is an integral part of Harmon Golf's teaching faculty.
